I agree with what S has said. Unless we have an idea of the nature of the business, we won't be able to make any suggestions. Furthermore, there is no perfect reporting format or system, so you can develop your reporting systems. This is where you will have to use your conceptual ability to develop a new system for reporting.

Although the organization is quite old, they don't have proper systems in place. I joined the company just 15 days ago and am facing issues regarding my direct reporting to my Partner.
