Calculation Of 'cost Of Attrition' In Indian BPO's

HI,
im doing a project on attrition control and want to know if there is any tested method for calculation of cost of attrition. I have already checked few sites which have calculators but they don't seem to be relevant for Indian context.
Please share any method you may be aware of...

Hetal,
The basic formulae of calculating attrition is headcounts left\recrited during the prd +total no of head count
This way you can calculate attrition.If you need any help give me your e-mail ID, i'll post the excel sheets which can help you in attrition.

thank you for replying.. actually i already have formulas to calculate attrition rate but what im finding difficult is how to find out "cost of attrition". How much a company loses when a employee leaves within 0-90 days specially in a BPO.
Please guide me if have any relevant material..
