Dear Friends,
I'm new to this forum and have a query: How does RPFC calculate the PF of an employee? I am aware that 12% (Employee + Employer) of the basic salary goes to RPFC. The ROI is 8.5% annually. Specifically, 8.33% of the employer's contribution goes to PF, and 3.67% goes to FPF/EPF.
How does RPFC calculate the interest on the amount deposited by the employer on behalf of the employee? I have noticed that, no matter how you calculate it, the results never match with RPFC's calculations. I hope there are knowledgeable people in this forum who can help me solve this mystery.
You can reach me personally via email at aashisharma@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Aashish Sharma
