Dear sir,
I am an electrical engineer in Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited. I am getting the pay band of 9300-34800 with Grade Pay 5400 w.e.f 12.08.2007 as 1st selection grade at the post of Junior Engineer. In April 2012 i was promoted as Assistant Engineer, allowed next pay band i.e 15600-39100 with same grade pay 5400. I asked my seniors to pay me 3% increment as my pay band is changed on promotion, but they refused that you will not get any increment as your pay changed due to post. so please clearify me whether i am entitled for one increment or not as per sixth pay commission on change of grade pay in my case.
