Is a Distance MBA from IICT Worth It? Seeking Advice on Industry Recognition and Value

Is an MBA through distance education from IICT industry recognized? They offer good specializations, and the fees are very low. Can someone help me decide, please?

Some companies may prefer full-time MBA only. Again, it depends on you to do it through correspondence.

Thank you for your reply. However, I do not have time to pursue a regular MBA. Hence, I prefer to opt for a correspondence MBA, which holds greater value in the industry. Please let me know if anyone can provide me with information about IICT.

I would like to know whether HR will consider an MBA from IICT. I understand that a regular MBA plays a major role, but as I mentioned, I cannot resign from my job to pursue a regular MBA.

We appear to be in the same boat. Yeah, I am looking to do an MBA through Distance Learning and have narrowed down my options to IICT. In fact, I have narrowed it down to Symbiosis, Ignou, IICT, NIBM-Chennai, but I am still undecided. Now, Anna University-Chennai has advertised a 2-year MBA program. I have heard that Symbiosis is good, but I am unable to find information on the fee structure. IICT charges 19555 for a 2-year MBA (Dual specialization). I hope this information is helpful to you. Let me know if you need more options to consider.

Anna Univ. application is closed for the current year's admission. I did my MCA from IGNOU. Its study materials are good, but I do not think it is the most preferred by HR. Symbiosis - Yes, I too did not get any information on fees, admission procedure, and contact number in Bangalore.

I was also considering an MBA from IICT. I am currently in Dubai, and there is a wide range of universities I can opt for. However, like Mohan, I can't leave my job to do a full-time MBA. Currently, another thought on my mind has been to acquire a CIPD qualification, and I'm trying to get some info on that.

Have any of you started the course at IICT? If yes, please do let me know what you think of the curriculum.
