Professional Tax In Mumbai Maharashtra

I need help form professional Tax consultants. I wants to know about the late payment interest rates and the penalty charges payable to the department for the F.Y. 2007-08. I am late in filling and payment due to my personal reason. I shall be thankful. Any one? Please let me know.

I want to know if employer paid an amount of profession tax to the contractor for employees hired from the contractor & if contractor failed to pay the profession tax whether employer is responsible or how?
