How Can I Successfully Start English Grammar Classes for Our Sales Team After Hours?

Dear Members,

I am a regular reader of CITE HR articles and I have made quite a few acquaintances.

I wish to post a query which might be new in nature, unlike other commonly mentioned topics.

I work for a bottling company in the FMCG industry. The majority of our sales are through salesmen cum drivers, retailers, distributors, etc. We have also ventured into Modern Trade, Institutional, and corporate sales.

Most of the retail salesmen are not good at the English language, which is natural to accept considering their backgrounds, etc.

I have suggested to my management to initiate basic English grammar classes as I used to give tuitions earlier for 6 years where I taught English to my students.

Can anyone contribute to this idea of mine and help me with notes, online books, sheets, etc., presentations?

I am doing this at a personal level, and my classes shall be conducted in my company only after office hours. This shall not be a part of my KRA's; therefore, I really want to make it successful and appear systematic.

Great to know that you are helping your employees with their language skills. For articles and exercises on Grammar, you can Google "esl" (English as a second language). The search will get you links to a lot of English grammar-related sites, and you can download exercises of your choice (please check for copyrights). Among the most impressive sites is "Dave's ESL Cafe."
