I just started my career in HR after completing my MBA. I have many nagging questions in my mind that I would like to have answers to. I see many experienced personnel in this community, so it would be greatly appreciated if you could take some time to clear my doubts.
1) How can a person progress in this field after gaining 8-10 years of experience, if they want to transition to consultancy or similar roles based on their experience?
2) Is it possible to work as a faculty member while maintaining a job after gaining enough experience?
3) What kind of salary increase can one expect during appraisals in this field? (In the software field, individuals typically receive a hike of about 50-100 percent with each appraisal)
4) Are there any other communities like this one for sharing knowledge regarding HR?
I would be very grateful if anyone could take the time to address these doubts of mine.
