HI Priya,
You are always welcome to share any knowledge that I know regarding Hr or anything.
Regarding your question, If you are an MBA gradutae and if a frim is offering you only recruitment in your Job profile, I would say to spend some more time to find even better opportunity. I am not against to recruitment, but HR is not all about Recruitment. It do have many other functional areas like Appraisal, T&D, Attendence maintenance, organising events, payroll and lots of other stuff depending on the firm.
SO, once if you start going with Recruitment, you may get same kind of opportunities that are related to purely recruitment which will lead to loss of fun at your work place. So, better try to find a job which delas and covers with all other functional areas too of HR.
To be a bit more detail and specific, If you get into a BPO or Consulatncy services or like firms, their major work delas with recruitment, due to attrition rates in BPO and consultance being all about recruiting people and forwarding them for the companies. So, My advice is to look for a HR job in Software field or FMCG or other fields though the fuinal decision is yours.
Finally priya, this is my view point. Anyhow, if Recruitment is your passion go ahead and join it, but, think on what I said depending on your priorities for a better future of yours.
I wish you all good luck for your future and career.
Regards,
Kiran.
