can any body tell me how to formulate policy related to LEAVE.

You can formulate the leave policy in compliance with the statutory requirements. It should be
CL - 12
SL - 12
EL - 17 (for every 21 days one EL is given) in compliance with statutory needs and you can follow the same depending on your management's approval for the same.

Hi,
leave policies are almost always similar in most countries, even with developing countries like ours. However, what most fail to incorporate in the formulation of these policies is the angle of retention.
Attrition is one of the greatest concerns across industry, and by increasing the leave credits as the tenure of an employee grows may minimize the problem. It doesn't have to be a big increase but it will give employees something to think about if they are planning to find employment elsewhere.
I've been conducting surveys to confirm this and the results are positive

Xpert's leave rules are quite adequate, and HR colleagues may feel free to follow them on principle, but they may wish to amend the number of days allowed if they so wish.
