Recruiting 300 Logistics Staff Across India in Just One Month – How Would You Tackle This Challenge?

I am in the midst of recruiting about 300 personnel for various roles in the logistics industry throughout India, namely Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Nagpur. These roles range from warehouse managers to the warehouse ground crew.

I have only one month to accomplish this task, so any support is greatly appreciated.

Recently, I happened to read that bigwig Indian companies have started recruiting experienced NRI staff from the Middle East region because of their inability to recruit other foreign nationals to India. What about recruitment from the Gulf region, especially the UAE, where we have a good pool of experienced staff in the logistics field who are looking for a settlement in India.

Although your target is tough, here are some suggestions you could consider.

You must try to circulate this via email to your friends/network first. Then, look for sites like Naukri, Monster, Jobsahead, which can give you better responses. Your aim should always be 2x2, meaning taking leads from each candidate. The last option should be to approach consultants.

I don't know if you have achieved your numbers; I came across your post way too late. But I know of one recruitment firm based out of Bangalore, which is probably one of the best in logistics, and I have seen them do huge numbers with companies like TNT, etc.
