Factory Expansion Now Needs State Approval: How Will This Affect Your Plans?

Attached herewith is the news clip from the Economics Times dated 5th January 2007 regarding the amendment in the Factories Act of 1948. According to this, factory owners with expansion plans are now required to seek permission from the state government for expansion, which was not a requirement before.
