Exact Formula For The Attrition Rate And Employee Turnover

I am little bit confused about the formula which are generally used to calculate attrition and employee turnover.

This is teh formulae that i am using in my company to calculate the attrition rate.

Total employees left /Average Manpower*100.

Average Manpower = Opening + Closing of Manpower for that particular month /2

Dear Gangar Jigar,
can u give the detail about the formulas result that mean 100 multiple only Average number of employee.
Employee Turnover= Total Seperation/Average Employee*100
or
Employee Turnover= (Total seperation/Average Employee)*100
