Considering a Retainership Offer: How Much Will I Actually Take Home?

Hi Everyone,

One of the MNC organizations has made an offer to me for Retainership. I would like to know how much cash in hand I will get and how much deduction will be made on the salary.

They are planning to give me a salary of INR 10 Lacs. I need to inform them of my acceptance by the 4th of January 2008.

As a retainer, there will be only a deduction of TDS from the retainership fee. I am not updated with the TDS rate; you can ask the company that offered you.
