It's not easy to specify what one's motivating factors are, and even more difficult to write them down!

For me, I can't think of 5 factors, but what I can find are:
1. Appreciation for my work.
2. Work that gets me interested, non-repetitive.
3. Flexi-hours - I need my space, my time.
4. Money - yes, partly - I don't like a shoe-string budget either! :)

(All exactly in that order)

As a matter of fact, I really don't know. I was preparing for some interview questions and came up with this question. I still have no answer for it. It's not appreciation, not support, not even money. Geez, I don't know what motivates me. Help me out. What do you think motivates me?

I get motivated by giving happiness to others and bringing a smile to their faces. I feel motivated when I see my parents smiling at me, when my friends encourage me, when I hear soothing music, or when somebody smiles at me and says, "So sweet of you."

Well, you're right, Sonit. It's difficult to introspect oneself. For me, it could be:
- Good & Challenging work
- Family and Friends
- Happy and Smiling faces
- Energetic and Intelligent people
- Good Food for thought.

Hey all,

Well, like sometimes... appreciation for my work motivates me immediately. Music, seeing other people doing some great work, gives me a kick. Reading some motivational books, I think if I get all this, I get motivated.
