Frustrated with Delays: How Can I Withdraw My PF Without My Old Company's Help?

krishna001
I have resigned from my old company J.B.C.P.L. in April 2007. They have informed me that they will send me the PF withdrawal form to withdraw my PF. However, they have not taken any action on this matter until now. What can I do? Can I withdraw PF directly by myself?

Hi,

You can meet them personally and ask for withdrawal forms, or go to the PF office from where you can obtain the withdrawal forms and have them filled out by your previous employer.

Hi,

This is your problem to withdraw your PF, not the company's problem. You should go to the PF office, take a form, fill it out, and get your employer's signature, then submit it to the PF office. You will receive the amount in your bank account within 3 months.

Hi,

Do you really need the money right now? Because if you don't, you can continue with the same account in your new organization. Just get your PF Account number and inform your new employer. You don't have to open a new PF account. Also, no employer can cheat you of your PF, so don't worry about not getting it. I would strongly suggest you continue with the same PF account. I hope I have helped you in some way.

I resigned from my previous employment in December 2009. I submitted my PF withdrawal application to my former employer in April 2010, but as of today, I have not received the PF amount. Please advise on the next steps.
