Can someone please let me know what's the pay band for Project Managers at tier 1 software companies such as Wipro, EDS, Infosys, etc.?

10 to 12 lakhs based on your experience and qualifications. 7 to 8 lakhs based on your experience. Your previous package is also very important in determining how much you can fetch.

Salaries vary according to regions, technology, domain, experience, and education as well. The general rule of thumb is set at 1 to 1.2 lakhs per year of IT experience. Therefore, if someone has 8 years of experience, the salary could range between 8 lakhs to 10 lakhs (based on the location, technology, and other parameters).

Additionally, as Rupa suggested, the last drawn salary is also crucial in determining the salary.
