Transitioning from BPO to HR: How Can I Succeed in IT Recruitment Without Experience?

I was working with BPOs for the past 20 months. Now, I have shifted from Customer Service to HR. Please, if any experienced HR professionals could help me, I am currently working as a recruiter, doing US recruitment mainly in I.T. and Technical fields. I will be very thankful to you all.
