Preparing for an ESIC Inspection: What Documents Do I Need and Where Can I Find Them?

My company is going for ESIC Inspection. Would any one of you provide me with some material regarding the same? What kind of documents are required in this type of inspection?

As regards ESIC inspection, you have to produce the following records:

1. Attendance Register
2. Wages Register
3. Copies of paid challans for remitting ESI contributions
4. Form 6 - Return of ESI contributions prescribed in the ESI Act
5. Form 7 - Employees Register prescribed in the ESI Act
6. Cash Book, Ledger, Vouchers, and other connected records
7. Inspection Register prescribed in the ESI Act
8. Accident Register prescribed in the ESI Act
