Struggling with PA40 Hiring: How to Fix Missing Organizational Assignment in IT0001?

I have a problem while hiring a new employee through PA40. Organizational assignment (IT 0001) is not being saved and is moving to the next IT 0002. When I try to do the same in PA30, I receive an error stating that IT0001 needs to be created when hiring an employee for the first time. How can I update IT0001 later, i.e., in PA30? Personnel numbers are being created without organizational assignment, so the Personnel Administration (PA) and Personnel Subarea (PSA) are blank, making it impossible for me to assign the person to a position in the Organizational Management (OM).

Can anyone please provide a solution?

Unless you don't assign a person to his/her position, the personnel number cannot be generated. In that case, first, you should go to PA30 to create the organizational assignment and then proceed to the next step.

Thanks. Yes, a personnel number is being generated when executing PA40. However, when trying to access PA30 and selecting organizational assignment & execute, an error message appears stating 'Organizational assignment to be created first time along with first hire.' This indicates that I am unable to create the missing IT0001 in PA30. Should I proceed with the process of PA40 organization reassignment or what?
