Seeking 2007 Salary Increase Data for Engineering Industry: Can You Help?

I am working with an MNC in the capacity of a Country Manager. I am about to finish the process of a salary hike; however, I want to ensure that the percentage rise matches or remains close to the rise in the Indian industry as a whole.

Benchmarking in the engineering industry: If any of you have any survey reports for salary rise for the year 2007, anything specific to different salary bands with different designations, or anything specific to engineering/construction companies with salaries at each level, it would be greatly appreciated.
