How To Prepare Expense Management-mis Report

Please help and guide me to prepare an MIS report for expense management.

One way is to list down all the expense heads under which expenses are booked in the TRIAL BALANCE of a company. Against those heads, enter the net amount (Dr.- Cr.) given in the trial balance. Also, you have to consider the increase/decrease in finished stocks, if required.

Hi Priti,

Collate complete data in one Excel file and prepare a pivot table by employees, their expenses, and Aging analysis. It will give you employee-wise details grouped in ages (<30 Days, 30-60, 60-90, >90 Days). Please let me know if you have further doubts, or else provide me the sample expense sheet, and I will send you a prepared report.
