In addition to these HR laws, an HR professional must also be aware of the guidelines passed by the Supreme Court known as the Supreme Court Guidelines on the Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women at the workplace, especially when female employees are employed in an industrial establishment or other workplaces listed, either as on-roll or contract employees. A bill has been passed regarding this, and the Act is yet to be enforced, but the guidelines are currently in force. The bill is attached in the file. The guidelines are the same as the bill.
