I have a query regarding the merging of pension certificates. After 19 years of service in a company, I resigned and withdrew my PF in 2008. The old company issued a hard copy of my pension certificate, which I still have. At that time, I did not have a UAN number.
Later, I joined a new company where my UAN number was generated. Since 2008, I have changed companies three times and have merged all the PF amounts with my current UAN account. I also have a pension fund in my UAN account.
My question is, how can I merge my old pension certificate (a hard copy without UAN) with my current pension account (Online UAN Account)? The PF offices for the old and new accounts are in different locations (Salem and Tiruchirapalli), but both are in the same state, Tamil Nadu. I am currently located in Bhopal, India.
I would like to know how to merge these and have a single pension fund. Any advice would be appreciated.
