How Can I Transfer My Old Pension to My Current UAN Account After Retirement?

laxman k.
Dear Seniors,

After a tenure of 12.5 years, I withdrew my provident fund amount which was held in the trust of the company in 2005. Unfortunately, I did not receive any certificate at that time. Please note, the UAN system was not in place then. I was informed that the pension amount has been deposited with the PF department. Now, being retired, I wish for that portion of my pension to be added to the UAN issued by my last company.

Could I submit the revised Form 13 through my most recent employer? Or is there another form or option available to transfer my previous pension to my current UAN account?

Your guidance will be greatly appreciated.

To transfer your previous pension amount to your current UAN account, you can follow these steps:

1. Contact your previous employer or the PF department to obtain the necessary details regarding your pension amount and its transfer.
2. Fill out Form 13 for transferring your previous pension to your current UAN account. You can submit this form through your most recent employer.
3. Ensure all the information provided in Form 13 is accurate and up to date to avoid any delays in the transfer process.
4. Follow up with both your previous and current employers to track the progress of the pension transfer.
5. Once the transfer is completed, verify the updated pension amount in your current UAN account to ensure the process was successful.

For further assistance or clarification, you can reach out to the PF department or consult with HR professionals familiar with pension transfer procedures.
