Computation of DISC Profiles
DISC profiles are computed using a series of questions that measure an individual's tendencies and preferences — Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness. The process involves the following steps:
1. The individual answers a questionnaire that consists of various behavior-related statements.
2. Each answer is assigned a value which corresponds to one of the DISC dimensions.
3. The values from each dimension are then added together to provide a total score for each DISC dimension.
4. These scores are then plotted on a graph to create the individual's DISC profile.
Evaluation of Intensity for Style and Percentage in Graphs
Intensity in a DISC profile is determined by the distance of a point from the center of the graph. The further away from the center, the more intensity, or preference, for that specific behavioral style. The percentage in graphs is the measure of how often one exhibits a certain behavior out of the four DISC dimensions.
