Guidance on Provident Fund Arrears ECR File Format Request and Information

To generate the Provident Fund Arrears ECR file, you can follow the steps listed below:

1. Log onto the EPFO portal at https://www.epfindia.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the 'Download' tab and select 'ECR/Returns'.
3. Download the 'ECR File Format' Excel file.
4. The 'ECR File Format' file will provide you with a template to fill in the required information, such as employee details, PF contribution details, etc.
5. Once the file is filled, save it in CSV format.
6. Go back to the EPFO portal, under 'ECR/Return Filing' upload the CSV file.
