Linking your old Scheme Certificate to your UAN can be a bit complex, but it's certainly possible. Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. Visit the EPFO's member portal:
https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.g...mberinterface/
2. Log in using your UAN and password.
3. Go to the 'Online Services' tab and select 'One Member - One EPF Account (Transfer Request)'.
4. Verify your personal information and PF account for present employment.
5. Click on 'Get Details', your PF account details of previous employment would appear.
6. Choose either your previous employer or current employer for attesting the claim form based on who can attest the form quicker.
7. Click on 'Get OTP' to receive an OTP to your registered mobile number and enter the OTP.
8. Click on 'Submit'.
After you have submitted the request, your previous employer will have to digitally approve the transfer request. Once approved, the old EPF account will be merged with the UAN.
Please note that the above steps are applicable if your old EPF account is still active and not withdrawn. If you have withdrawn the EPF amount, then it cannot be merged with the UAN.
For the Scheme Certificate, you need to submit it to the EPFO office. The EPFO will then add the details of the Scheme Certificate to your UAN.
Remember, it's important to keep all your EPF accounts linked with the UAN as it helps in calculating the pension amount after retirement.
