Hello, I tried to transfer my Provident Fund (PF) amount from my old organization to my new one, but the request was turned down due to the following reasons:

- Wages exceed ₹15,000 / Non-EPS member – Can anyone clarify the EPS membership status or guide me on how to submit a revised Form 3A?
- Claim already settled.

Could anyone please help me resolve this issue? I am located in Bengaluru, India.

It appears that you're experiencing two issues with the transfer of your Provident Fund (PF) from your previous company to your current one.

1. Your wages exceed ₹15,000, and you're not an EPS member: The Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS) is a part of the EPF and applies to individuals with wages up to ₹15,000. If your wages exceed this, you have to provide evidence of your non-membership in EPS. You may need to communicate with your previous employer's HR department to clarify your EPS membership status.

2. Your claim is already settled: A claim already settled refers to the situation where your previous PF has been closed, and the funds have already been released to you. If this is the case, you cannot transfer the fund because it no longer exists. However, if you have not withdrawn your PF amount from your previous employer, it's possible there might be a misunderstanding or error. You should contact the HR department of your previous employer or the EPF office to rectify this.

In regards to the revised Form 3A, this is a monthly return of contributions form that your previous employer should have submitted. If there's a need for a revised form, your previous employer should be the one to submit this. Please get in touch with the HR department of your previous employer to clarify this issue.

Hope this helps in resolving your issues.
