Is the Gratuity Payment Maximum Limit increased from 20 Lakh to 25 Lakh?

Hello all,

I just wanted to know whether the maximum limit for gratuity payment of 20 Lakhs has been increased to 25 Lakhs under the Gratuity Act. If it has been increased, could someone please provide me with the circular/notification related to that and also confirm if the exempted gratuity limit has been raised in the Income Tax Act.

Please provide the information.
