Leave Entitlements for Off-Roll Employees
Leave as per the Shops Act or Factories Act, as the case may be, will be the same for all kinds of employees. It is true that the on-roll employees of the company may get additional leave as per their service conditions. However, the leave given to the off-roll employees can never be less than what is provided for factories, shops, etc., under the respective Acts.
If you are working in an establishment that is not a factory, then you should be given 12 days of casual leave, 12 days of sick leave, and after the completion of 12 months of service, 12 days of privileged leave.
