Hello Sir/Madam, I joined a company and stayed there for just one day to complete my onboarding formalities. However, the location was very far from my home, making the commute difficult. I discussed this issue with one of the recruiters, and I was advised to surrender the laptop on the second day.
To my surprise, on the third day, I received a call from my primary recruiter instructing me to collect the laptop and complete the exit formalities once I hear from the exit team. Unfortunately, I did not receive any call or email from the concerned team, and the primary recruiter stopped responding to my calls and emails.
To be cautious, I resigned through regular Gmail and informed the recruiter via email and message. Subsequently, I began receiving emails and letters demanding the Full and Final (FNF) settlement payment to the company, and they have been pressuring me on this matter.
Therefore, please advise me on what steps to take next.
