Planning a Team Outing with No Budget Limits – What Fun Ideas Do You Have?

Sandhyanair
Hi Friends,

I have recently joined an MNC (1 year old). I am supposed to arrange a team outing for next month. There is no budget target as such. Suggestions are welcome.

Hi Sandy,

Are you in Bangalore? Then you can arrange for:

a. Go-karting with lunch outing at a restaurant.

b. Cricket match (provide lunch, snacks, cold drinks).

c. Movie with lunch outing again.

Hope you get more ideas. Looking at the above listings and many more suggestions from the CiteHR team members.

Cheers,
Roopa 😄😄

Hi Roopa,

Thanks for the reply. I am in Bangalore, and the plan is for the whole day. We are altogether 20 people. As of now, what I was thinking is going to a resort or to Bannerghatta nature camp or anywhere else. This way, we can play games and also do other activities like trekking, water rafting, etc.

What do you think, Roopa? Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi Sandy,

Ok... Bannerghatta Nature Park... have not visited... but have heard a lot about it. If you are planning to visit a resort, then you can even go to Shakti Hill Resort on Mysore Road, near Rajarajeshwari Temple. It is supposed to be good. Last week, my son had a good time there.

Hi,

There is no budget. In my opinion, you should choose some theme parks or sea-based resorts.

In Bangalore..... Great..... Take them to Wonderla for a happy time for a team outing or to Cauvery Fishing Camp on Kanakpura Road. The second one is a good place for trekking and adventure. Enjoy! :) :)

Hi,

In Bangalore, there are a lot of places where you can have your team outing, e.g., Bhimeshwari (Trekking), Eagleton Resort, Manipal County Resort, Golden Spa, The Club, etc. There are many resorts in and around Bangalore. It would be easier to suggest if you could specify which part of Bangalore you would like to visit.

Hi Sandy,

I think when you are arranging a team outing, you need to avoid a few things. In case you are going in a big group, these things should be avoided completely without giving any second thought:

- Waterfalls
- Sea-based resorts
- Trekking (Not applicable for a big group).

Ani
