Navigating BGV: Should I Disclose My Brief First Job to My New Employer?

goutham-maliga
I joined a company on 20-Sep-2024 and resigned with a relieving date of 21-10-2024 (resigned on 17th October 2024) as I didn't like the environment there. This was my first job.

I didn't receive any salary for the one month I worked as I hadn't updated my bank details. A UAN number was created in my name, but I am unsure if my PF account was created.

I have received another offer from an MNC where I didn't disclose my one-month employment.

Will I be considered a fresher in my new company, or will there be any issues with my BGV process?

Is it advisable to inform HR about my previous employment? Is it acceptable to provide the old UAN to the new company, or could it lead to complications?

Yes, you will be treated as a fresher, but it is better if you inform the HR of the new company.
