How to Surrender the Provident Fund (EPF) License

To surrender the Provident Fund (EPF) license of a previous company, you typically need to follow a specific process outlined by the EPF authorities.

First, you should contact the EPF office or visit their website to understand the exact steps and documentation required for surrendering the license.

Usually, this process involves submitting a formal request letter to the EPF office, along with any relevant supporting documents such as the company's registration details, license certificate, and proof of closure or cessation of business operations.

It's important to ensure that all necessary information is provided accurately to facilitate a smooth surrender process.

If you encounter any difficulties or have questions during the process, don't hesitate to reach out to the EPF office for guidance and assistance.

There is nothing called a PF License, and therefore, there is no question of surrendering the same. You have a UAN, which will continue with you as long as you are in employment. When you change your job, please provide a proper declaration in Form-11 stating your UAN for a smooth transfer of the accumulated amount from your previous organization to your new account.
