Hi, can PF be deducted partially from the basic pay? Suppose a person is receiving a basic salary of 20k, then can PF be deducted from 12k of it?

Hi, the minimum mandatory PF contribution is Rs. 1800, which is 12% of Rs. 15,000. So, you should calculate based on Rs. 15,000 minimum.
