Salary Delays for Months: Can You Skip the Notice Period When Quitting Immediately?

Sahilla
If the company has not paid the salary on time for the last 6-7 months and an employee has resigned with immediate effect due to this reason, is any notice period applicable in that case?

Hi, I'm not sure whether you are the HR representative or the affected employee of the company.

In the case of resignation, whatever notice period is mentioned in the appointment terms should be followed. However, the employer and employee, by mutual consent, may end the contract without any notice as well.
