PIN NUMBER REVERSAL - GOOD TO KNOW THIS

For your information.
PIN NUMBER REVERSAL - GOOD TO KNOW THIS
If any robber catches you and you are forced by the robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police so smartly by entering your Pin Number in reverse. For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine.
The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.
This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists.
If you deem fit, please pass this information to everyone possible before they ………. !!!!
This info I got from one of my friend working in Bangalore.
(PS: I wish nobody gets into a situation wherein he/she should have to try this).

Dear All
This statement about pin number reversal is only an internet rumor circulating since 2006.
The technology exist, but it is not yet operational in india
please join together to stop spread of such rumor and putting someones life in danger
Instead please watch your surrounding before transacting through ATM

A friend of mine got this information checked with a couple of leading banks, and they say this information is absolutely false. No bank has programmed their atms to inform the police when you enter the atm pin backwards. So please do not believe this. If you try it it will only say pin no. is wrong
