Facing a Dilemma: Should I Pay Wipro's Dues for an Experience Letter or Risk a Fake One?

Joined Wipro in 2019 in a support role and absconded due to the night shift after serving for 4 months. Wipro sent me a notice to settle negative dues, issuing a training bond of 75 thousand, which was never mentioned in my offer letter. Post that, I joined Accenture as a fresher and continued working for 4.5 years. Now, I have received an offer from Capgemini, and they have asked me to share my UAN member history where Wipro can be clearly seen. Therefore, they are requesting me to obtain an experience letter from Wipro so that they can release the offer letter.

I tried to be honest, but they completely denied releasing the offer letter without the experience letter from Wipro. Should I settle the negative dues with Wipro after 4 years, which they might charge with additional interest, along with the training bond that I never signed up for? Or should I create a fake experience letter as my stint at Wipro was only for 4 months, instead of paying a hefty amount?

Hi, Already, you have made a mistake by absconding from Wipro. Now, you are considering creating a fake experience letter as if it were issued by Wipro. Even if you submit a fake certificate to Capgemini, they will verify the authenticity of the experience letter with Wipro during the BGV process. So, please don't do that. It would be better to meet with Wipro HR and try to reach an amicable settlement to obtain your relieving letter. That is the only proper way.
