Am I Still on Probation After 15 Months Without a Confirmation Letter?

Dear All,

I have completed 15 months in my organization, but I have not received any confirmation letter from my employer to date. My query is whether my services are under a probation period or are confirmed.

I don't know what 'prohibition period' is, but if you mean to say 'probation period', you have to refer to the appointment order. If there is any period of probation mentioned with a clause that you will be on probation until your service is confirmed in writing, then you are deemed to be under probation only.

I want to know if the company is not giving confirmation, does that mean the employee can be terminated.

It depends on the terms of appointment. Under normal circumstances, a probationer may lose the job without any reason being assigned. Therefore, if the confirmation is delayed beyond the original probation period, the employee should talk to the Reporting Officer and/or the HR Manager to get clarification. If the discussion turns negative, then the employee should start searching for another opportunity immediately.
