National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) - Provided by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship:
Eligibility Criteria: The scheme is open to anyone who has completed education beyond the 5th Class.
Statutory Benefits: There is no requirement for statutory compliance.
Reimbursement: The scheme offers a reimbursement of Rs.1500/- per month for each apprentice via Direct Bank Transfer (DBT).
National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) - Provided by the Ministry of Education:
Eligibility Criteria: The scheme is open to graduates from any discipline who have passed within the last 5 years.
Statutory Benefits: Statutory compliance is not applicable. However, companies have the option to engage employees under the Provident Fund scheme as apprentices.
