Minimum wage can be considered according to the state when we process salary in HO?

Hi, we are situated in Bangalore, and we have 11 branches across India. I would like to know if branch employees' salaries are processed in Bangalore. Now, the question is whether we should consider the branch minimum wage or that of Bangalore. Can anyone clarify this?

Minimum wages of the respective state should be paid to workers. You cannot fix the wages according to the state where your Head Office functions. You should take the minimum wages of each state independently for each set of workers.

What Mr. Madhu said is correct. Minimum wages will be fixed by the respective state authorities, based on the consumer price index of the location.

Applicable Minimum Wages

Applicable minimum wages, where the employee is physically working, should be considered. The location where the salary is processed is not the criterion.
