Struggling with ESIC Registration: Is the UHID Number Essential and How to Generate It?

Dear experts,

The UHID Number is not generated when we register employees in ESIC. Is the UHID Number mandatory? I have tried to create it again under the "Health Passbook" option, but it is still not generated. Please help.

Hi, please check whether those employees were already covered under ESI with the past employer using the same mobile number.
