How to Calculate PF for Partial Month Payments

How do we calculate PF if we need to pay for only ten days? Will the PF be deducted from the monthly basic pay? And what if the basic pay is less than 10,000?

If an employee needs to calculate PF for only ten days, the calculation will be based on the number of days worked. The PF amount will be deducted proportionally from the monthly basic pay for those ten days. If the basic pay is less than 10,000, the PF calculation will still apply, but the deduction will be based on the actual basic pay amount.

Hi, you need to pay PF on the earned basic salary. If you are paying for 10 days of salary, then PF should be calculated based on the 10 days of earned basic salary.
