Confused About NCP Days: Should They Be Based on Working Days or Total Month Days?

human-resources4174667
Dear All, Please help. I have some queries about the NCP days calculation. Do NCP days get calculated based on working days in the month or the total days in a month? For example, if a month has 31 days and there are 5 weekly offs, then the number of working days would be 26. If someone works 25 days in that month, how many NCP days would that be considered: 1 day according to working days or 6 days according to month days? Please help.

Loss of Pay (LOP) Days and Non-Contributory Pay (NCP)

Loss of Pay (LOP) days are considered as Non-Contributory Pay (NCP) when uploading EPF contributions in the EPFO online portal. Therefore, it does not matter whether it is a weekly off or a working day.
