Hi, I wanted to check if there is a possibility of getting a leave policy specifically designed for trainees. We are an IT services company based out of Hyderabad.
No, trainees are employees only, and you cannot have separate leaves for them. However, if you provide leaves that are more beneficial than what is prescribed under the Telangana Shops Act, then while keeping the mandatory leaves applicable to trainees, others can be given better leaves.
