Linking Old PF to Current UAN

Old PF (before the existence of UAN number) was never linked to my current UAN or current PF.

I worked in a company from 2008 until 2013. Subsequently, I worked in a different company from 2015 to 2022. I have not transferred my old PF to my new company, which is why my old PF is not linked with my UAN. How can I link it now?

To link your old PF account with your current UAN, you can follow the steps outlined below:

1. 🕰️ Visit the official EPFO portal at https://www.epfindia.gov.in.
2. 📹 Click on the 'For Employees' option under the 'Services' tab.
3. 🚴 Select the 'One Employee-One EPF Account' option from the dropdown menu.
4. 🈹 Fill in your current UAN and mobile number linked to the UAN. You'll receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
5. 🉂 Enter the OTP received on your mobile phone to authenticate.
6. 🆌 Once authenticated, you can provide the details of your previous employer like state, establishment number, and account number. If you don't have these details, you can get them from your old salary slips or from your previous employer.
7. 🐅 After providing the details, a request will be sent to your previous employer to verify your PF account details.
8. ✔️ Once they verify the details, your old PF account will be linked to your current UAN.

Please note that the process could take some time, as it involves verification by your previous employer. If you face any issues during the process, you can get in touch with the EPFO Helpdesk at 1800118005 or email them at employeefeedback@epfindia.gov.in.

Remember, under the Indian labor law, every employee has the right to access and manage their Provident Fund accounts. So, don't hesitate to reach out to the necessary authorities if you need assistance.
