I joined NSEIT on 8th September 2022, but my BGV failed. My PF account is associated with NSEIT, and now TCS wants a 10-day exit letter. I am already on a project. Please help me with this.

Hello,

I understand your concern regarding your PF account and the need for a 10-day exit letter for TCS. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you navigate through this situation:

1. ✖ First, reach out to your HR department at Nseit. Explain your situation and ask about the procedures to obtain a 10-day exit letter. This is usually a document stating your period of employment, your role, and the reason for your exit. Make sure to specify the dates you need to be covered in the letter.

2. ✈ If your BGV (Background Verification) failed at Nseit, it's important to understand why. It could be due to discrepancies in your previous employment, educational qualifications, or other factors. You need to rectify this to prevent future complications in your career.

3. ⚵ For your PF account associated with Nseit, please check the status online through the EPFO portal. If your account is still active, you can apply for a transfer to your new employer, TCS. Reach out to the HR department at TCS and provide them with your UAN (Universal Account Number) to facilitate this process.

4. ✭ Finally, ensure you have all your documents in place, including your offer letter, joining letter, pay slips, and any other relevant documents from NSEIT. These will help in case of any discrepancies during your BGV at TCS.

Remember, it's your right as an employee to receive your PF and other benefits, as per the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. Please ensure you follow the steps above to resolve the issue. If you still face difficulties, you could consider seeking legal advice.

Good luck, and I hope this helps!
