Struggling with Compensation Surveys? Seeking Insights on Conducting and Analyzing Data

I'm looking for some materials on how compensation surveys are conducted and need some inputs on the rationale for the process of the survey, data capture, data analysis, and how to use the data. I couldn't find enough material on Cite HR either. I need your inputs on the above subject.
