Yes, you have to pay overtime wages at double the rate if the total working hours in the week have exceeded 48 hours. If the employee had taken a leave (with pay) on any day during the week, that day or days would be counted as day/days worked, and 8 hours per day of leave with pay should be included in the 48 hours to decide entitlement for overtime wages.
